"A Day at the Races".
Enjoy the display of antique cars from the Lions Gate Model A Club. Take a ride on board the Museum’s 1924 Model T, the 1910 Tudhope Everitt touring car, or the 1929 Nash Roadster. See the electric car as it was back at the turn of the last century the 1912 Detroit Electric car is truly the cat’s meow. Create your own top hat or lady’s fancy hat at the craft station. You’ll be wearing them with panache in the VIP stands at “Mascot”, the grand Village Races. Enjoy the parade of antique bicycles from Cap’s Cycles, the vintage vehicles from far and near, and the 1910s fashion divas who strut by. Then, cheer on your favourites during the unicycle race and the heats of community tricycles races.

On August 27th, all day Thursday at all 700 A&W locations in Canada it is Cruisin' for a Cause for MS to end MS. Beginning in St John's Newfoundland and ending late in the evening on Vancouver Island.
Every hot rodder, classic car nut, muscle car enthusiast, specialty car fan and even rat rods and antiques are invited to come out to their local A&W and support this very worthy event. In addition we hope they will bring the family, their friends, neighbours and gearheads to come along so that we can sell a million Teen Burgers.
So be there on the 27th from early morning till closing at your favourite Dub in the Lower Mainland. At The Dub in Maple Ridge, Dan and Helen Gardener will be broadcasting the CISL 650 Auto Intel Show live from 8 till 9 PM and at the Schoolhouse A&W in Coquitlam from 6 till 8 PM that Rockin' and Rollin' Red Robinson will be there to chat up the cruisers.
