Show & Shine Registration
Registration will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Show & Shine assembly area, at the intersection of Albert Street and Beta Avenue prior to the Hats Off Day Parade. A $10 registration fee will be collected from all participants and donated to the Burnaby Christmas Bureau. Thanks to your donations each year, we raised more than $1,000 for the Burnaby Christmas Bureau.
Driving Directions to Show & Shine Registration Area
• Drive towards Gamma Avenue using Parker Street (there is no access to Hastings from Boundary to Holdom).
• Turn NORTH at Gamma Avenue and proceed towards Albert Avenue. Turn WEST onto Albert Street.
• A volunteer will direct you the Show & Shine assembly area on Albert Street.
• Once parked, you must sign in at the registration table located at the intersection of Albert Street and Beta Avenue from 9:00 and 10:00 a.m.

presented by Porsche, BMW and Mercedes-Benz clubs.

Net proceeds of entry fee plus donation of non perishable food item for the North Shore Harvest Project Food Bank will be collected day of event
Event sponsors will provide some prizes to be given away and some other funstuff. There will also be a food vendor available for lunches, as well as an ice cream vendor.
The German Car Festival traces its routes back many years to when it was a Porsche Club show and shine outing to support a local charity.
In 2002 the event formally became the German Car Festival as Ron Dempsey worked to bring the BMW, Porsche and Mercedes clubs together to host the event.
The event has grown and become popular as a summer show and shine for the various authorized German car clubs. Those are the 'brick and mortar' clubs that are sanctioned by the manufacturer, and now include not only our BMW Car Club of BC, but the local Porsche Club of America - Canada West Region, the Mercedes-Benz Club of America - British Columbia Section, and the Audi Club of British Columbia.
As can be expected from such a diverse group, there will some very interesting cars participate in this event both new and old.
The entry fee net proceeds and perishable food items collected are donated to the North Shore Harvest Project.

Wenatchee Valley Streed Rods Apple Run Car Show
This is an annual event hosted by Wenatchee Valley Street Rod club that benefits the Central Washington Hospital Foundation. Money raised is used to sponsor education scholarships for local hospital employees. The show is held annually the last weekend of June at the beautiful Washington State Confluence Park along the Columbia and Wenatchee rivers. It is open to the public, 9:00-5:00 on Saturday and 9:00-2:00 on Sunday, to view 250-300 of the finest street rods from Washington, Oregon and Canada. Activities include show and shine, food vendors, and auto related custom booths.
