I am attaching a couple of shots of the Veness Special. The car was built by Tom Veness, of Renton Washington in 1957, Using a Devin W-6 shell, Power courtesy of a Small Block Chevy. The car was Oregon and Northwest Regional Champion, C Modified/A Sports Racing for 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, and 1968. The '68 Championship was won by my uncle. He died in a car wreck (not racing) in 1969 and my dad sold the car. In 1999 We found the Veness in Canada and are now restoring it. These Photos are from 1969, At Westwood.
